Being native to the Bay Area's crazy weather, layers are a fashion concept I am all too familiar with. Though also a necessity, they prove to be a stylish way to transition many of your spring/summer pieces into the colder months. I love a big cozy cardigan, and one that has a luxurious length and drape lends itself well to the tailored look of a shirtdress. Add some knee high boots to cover all that exposed leg, or throw on some sweater tights and booties to combat the chill. Top it off with an artfully placed statement scarf and a leather tote and you are ready to face fall. Enjoy!
